  24. There is nothing wrong with cooperative multitasking, when implemented
  25. properly. The Windows style one basically meant that only the foreground task
  26. got processor time, whereas Risc OS (Acorn's operating system) allowes all
  27. tasks to have processor time. This means I can run a DTP program, command
  28. shell, desktop utilities, be printing in the background, viewing JPEG's (as
  29. part of the OS - without de-compressing) without things grinding (and all in 24
  30. bit colour....)

  37. Admittedly - the OS has lacked development recently, but there is a new version
  38. coming out soon, together with new processor cards which should deliver up to
  39. 260 MIPS. That's faster than the fastest PC (and the fastest Amiga)...
