- There is nothing wrong with cooperative multitasking, when implemented
- properly. The Windows style one basically meant that only the foreground task
- got processor time, whereas Risc OS (Acorn's operating system) allowes all
- tasks to have processor time. This means I can run a DTP program, command
- shell, desktop utilities, be printing in the background, viewing JPEG's (as
- part of the OS - without de-compressing) without things grinding (and all in 24
- bit colour....)

- Admittedly - the OS has lacked development recently, but there is a new version
- coming out soon, together with new processor cards which should deliver up to
- 260 MIPS. That's faster than the fastest PC (and the fastest Amiga)...
